If you enroll later during your initial enrollment window, your benefit coverage will still begin as of your hire date. As a result, any missed deductions will be collected retroactively through additional payroll deductions until the full amount owed is recovered. You may begin using your benefits as of your hire date, even if your enrollment is still being processed. If you incur eligible expenses before your enrollment is finalized, you may pay out of pocket and submit a claim for reimbursement once your coverage is active.
