Dependent Life Insurance

Purchasing dependent life insurance coverage from Securian offers increased financial security and peace of mind:

  • For your spouse/domestic partner—You can buy $10,000 or $20,000 in coverage. If your spouse/domestic partner earns the MSRP or Non-Tobacco credits, you can save even more on the spouse/domestic partner life insurance premium.
  • For your child—You can buy $5,000 or $10,000 in life insurance for all eligible, unmarried children, beginning at live birth up to age 26.

Visit The Benefit Connection to see the applicable rates for the different coverage options. The rates can be seen during enrollment, or, if you select “Your Current Coverage,” you can see the rates for your current coverage elections.
