Pet Insurance

Pets make your family whole. Cover them with pet insurance. It helps cover the costs of vet visits, accidents, illness, and more.

The pet insurance plans offer robust annual benefit amount options, chronic care coverage, and no lifetime or per-incident limits for pets of all ages. You can customize your deductible and reimbursement rates so they work best for your pet’s needs and your budget.

MetLife also has exotic pet coverage, which includes coverage for avians, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, and other pets. This is currently only available in eight states (Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming).

If your pet has a preexisting diagnosis or if symptoms manifest prior to the effective date of the policy, it is considered preexisting and is not covered.
