Cancer Insurance
At AutoNation, it’s about more than selling and servicing cars and trucks. It’s about taking care of people. AutoNation provides all Associates, your spouse/domestic partner, and your children (up to age 26) with Cancer Insurance. Under the Cancer Insurance plan, Associates and their eligible dependents receive a cash benefit if diagnosed with cancer.
This plan is administered by Reliance Matrix.
As an AutoNation Associate, you will be automatically enrolled in the Cancer Insurance Plan at no cost to you.
Unlike your medical plan, which pays benefits directly to a hospital or other provider, your cancer insurance pays a benefit directly to you. If you, your spouse/domestic partner, or your dependent children (up to age 26) receive a cancer diagnosis, this plan pays a lump-sum benefit to spend any way you choose.
This plan also pays a recurrence benefit for a covered cancer that occurs after your initial diagnosis including coverage of breast cancer in situ at 100%.
Cash paid directly to you, to use any way you want.
The plan, administered by Reliance Matrix, will pay you up to $5,000 if you are diagnosed with cancer and up to $2,500 if your spouse/domestic partner or children (up to age 26) are diagnosed with cancer. The plan pays $1,000 per lifetime for a skin cancer diagnosis.
The cash is yours to use any way you want. Use it to cover your copays, deductibles, or coinsurance; pay your rent, utility bills, or groceries; or even finance a vacation. The choice is yours.

Submitting a Claim
Complete and file your claim by phone.
- Call 877-315-9838 Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. ET to speak with a Reliance Matrix customer service representative.
File your claim online.
- Visit the Reliance Matrix website. If you are accessing the portal for the first time, you will need to set up an account.
- You can also file your claim through the Reliance Matrix app available on Google Play and the App Store.
